The Firm

Trusted counsel for
defining moments.

What We Believe

Every organization encounters moments that define its future.

A leadership transition. A transformative acquisition. An emerging issue. A period of extraordinary growth. A reputational challenge. A decision that will shape how employees, customers, investors, policymakers, and communities view the organization for years to come.

These moments demand more than communications support. They require thoughtful leadership, sound judgment, and a trusted advisor who understands both the business and the people it serves.

Kairos Strategic Advisory was founded to help organizations navigate those defining moments with confidence.

We believe the most important communications decisions are rarely about communications alone. They are about leadership, trust, reputation, and business strategy. Every engagement is built around helping organizations make better decisions, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and communicate with clarity when the stakes are highest.

Our Approach

The best strategic counsel begins with understanding the business.

Before developing messages or recommendations, we seek to understand what matters most: your business objectives, organizational culture, stakeholder landscape, and the broader environment in which you operate.

That perspective allows us to provide advice that is practical, actionable, and aligned with long-term business goals—not simply today's headlines.

Whether serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, supporting an internal communications initiative, preparing for a transformational business event, or navigating a high-profile issue, our approach remains consistent:

  • Lead with strategy.
  • Build trust.
  • Communicate with purpose.

Daniel Sacerio

Founder & Principal

The most important business decisions are rarely about communications alone. They are about leadership, trust, reputation, and the confidence to move forward.

Daniel Sacerio founded Kairos Strategic Advisory to provide organizations with something increasingly rare: direct access to experienced, senior-level counsel during the moments that matter most.

Throughout his career, Daniel has advised Fortune 500 companies, privately held businesses, nonprofit organizations, public institutions, and executive leadership teams navigating complex business challenges. His work spans corporate affairs, executive communications, reputation management, organizational transformation, labor strategy, public affairs, government relations, stakeholder engagement, and crisis leadership.

Prior to founding Kairos Strategic Advisory, Daniel served as a Senior Vice President within Edelman's U.S. Crisis & Reputation Risk practice, advising organizations across the travel and tourism, hospitality, food and beverage, healthcare, energy, consumer products, retail, technology, sports, and nonprofit sectors. His experience includes guiding organizations through mergers and acquisitions, executive transitions, labor campaigns, public health emergencies, environmental incidents, cybersecurity events, stakeholder activism, litigation, and enterprise-wide reputation strategy.

Known for his calm judgment and collaborative approach, Daniel works alongside executive leadership teams to help organizations anticipate challenges, navigate complexity, and strengthen trust with the audiences who matter most. His global and cross-cultural perspective is complemented by his linguistic abilities: Daniel is a native bilingual speaker of English and Spanish and has advanced proficiency in Albanian, as well as an elementary understanding of Bulgarian and European Portuguese.

Every Kairos engagement is personally led by Daniel, ensuring clients receive experienced strategic counsel from the first conversation through execution.

That experience informs Kairos's six integrated practices across strategic communications and corporate affairs.

Our Experience

Advised leadership through their most consequential moments.

We have advised executive leadership teams during some of their most consequential business moments, including:

  • Advising communications surrounding a $13 billion global merger, helping leadership navigate employee, customer, media, and investor expectations.

  • Supporting the sale of a professional sports franchise during one of the organization's most visible reputation challenges, culminating in a transaction valued at more than $60 million.

  • Leading strategic communications and stakeholder engagement during multiple high-profile labor relations campaigns, helping organizations strengthen employee trust and organizational alignment.

  • Guiding an Alaska Native Regional Corporation through organizational transformation, employee engagement, crisis management, and expansion of oilfield operations on Alaska's North Slope.

  • Advising Puerto Rico's tourism industry throughout the Zika virus outbreak, helping protect traveler confidence during an international public health emergency.

  • Supporting healthcare organizations through executive transitions, public policy challenges, and evolving social issues.

  • Building and advancing positive corporate reputation through proactive media relations and thought leadership, including strategic media placements, executive profiles, op-eds, bylined content, commentary, and other earned opportunities that elevate organizational priorities and executive voices.

  • Leading media relations campaigns, including overseeing the North American launch of MS Roald Amundsen, the world's first hybrid cruise ship.

  • Counseling executive teams through litigation, environmental incidents, operational disruptions, stakeholder activism, cybersecurity events, and enterprise reputation initiatives.

  • Developing enterprise-wide crisis preparedness programs, executive simulation exercises, executive communications strategies, and governance frameworks that strengthened organizational resilience.

Our Philosophy

Organizations don't hire Kairos because communications is easy.

They call when trust is being tested, expectations are evolving, or decisions carry lasting consequences.

Whether advising a CEO before a board meeting, helping leadership navigate organizational change, preparing for an IPO, responding to a crisis, or building a long-term reputation strategy, Kairos helps organizations communicate with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

We believe communications is not simply about managing headlines. It is about helping leaders make informed decisions, build enduring trust, and create lasting value for the organizations and communities they serve.
